Radios, code,
and curiosity.

I work across software and hardware because I like seeing the whole system. On the software side, that means full-stack development, Linux, networking, and systems-oriented projects. On the hardware side, it means radios, antennas, test equipment, repair, and the patient process of figuring out why something is not behaving the way it should.

I first became aware of amateur radio as a teenager, but I did not pursue it until my mid-twenties. I started with 2m repeaters and have gradually moved into HF, antenna construction, propagation, RF measurement, and restoration work. The hobby gives me a place to turn theory into something measurable: build an antenna, test it, find the problem, make a change, and see what happens.

I hold an Associate's degree in Computer Science. I intend to return to school for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering so I can build a stronger formal foundation in circuits, RF, and communications. My long-term goal is to transition into a professional role in RF, wireless communications, or electronics, bringing together my software background and hands-on experience.

I am especially interested in the space where embedded systems, software-defined radio, networking, and RF engineering meet. I am still learning, but I take the learning seriously: I read, test, repair, document, and try to understand the underlying reason something works instead of stopping at a result.

When I am not working on software or radio, I enjoy getting outdoors and spending time with practical projects. That same curiosity follows me everywhere: I like taking complicated things apart conceptually, learning how they fit together, and finding a useful way to put the knowledge into practice.
